Only vehicles with software version 270 are affected.

From software 270 activation/deactivation must not be possible any more. If the above phenomenon occurs, the control unit has switched to a developer software mode.

The problem is caused by the software, do not replace any components.

Affected

Software version 280 from week 49, chassis number WAUZZZ4E5N011706.

Solution

Update the software of the tyre pressure warning system with the Update CD - Part No. 8N0 906 961 A - and the tester 5051/5052. The software version 280 will be automatically installed.

This cannot be done with Vagcom, it must be done by a dealer or specialist with VAS 5051/5052 and the update CD
