Removing and installing front reception aerials
Special tools required   Torque wrench -V.A.G 1783-
Removing Reception aerials are located behind wheel housing liners. – Position vehicle on lifting platform . – Switch off ignition. – Remove wheel housing liner .

 

Unplug connector -1-. – Release clip -2-. – Take out aerial -3-. Remove front reception aerial with holder.
– Unscrew hexagon nut -1-. – Take out aerial holder -2-. Installing Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence.
Fit front reception aerial with holder -2-. – Tighten hexagon nut -1- to 2 Nm. – Fit wheel housing liner . – Set down vehicle on its wheels .
