Overview

The TV unit has 2 AUX in and one AUX out, though these are not actual sockets, rather they are pins on the large red connector on top of the unit (when fitted)

 

The cables are available from many sources including Kufatec and ebay and come with 3 phono connectors with pins that fit the red block connector at the other end.

 

Installing

• Undo the 2 nuts which hold the NAV DVD and holder to the body, the right hand one is tucked back almost vertically
• drop the NAVI DVD down to the floor carefully, and you should now have access to the red block connector on the TV tuner behind the radio module.
• you can leave the connector attached but unclip the plastic housing t get access to the pins.
• Use the pinouts below to attach each pin in to the required position, they should click in to place, and carefully put the red plastic housing back on
• you can now test the aux sockets by plugging in anything with a video output.

FAQ's

 

Ive done it correctly double checked the pins but cant see any video
You select AUX(x) in the MMI but still cant see video, though often you can hear sound. try going to SETTINGS and changing the Settings from PAL to NTSC, save it , then go back in and change it back

 

I cant see the options for AUX 1 and AUX 2 in the MMI display
