Remove rear seat bench

Removing

–	Raise rear seat bench -1- and pull out rear seat bench -1- towards front.

–	With seat heating: Unplug connector.

Installing

Caution:

The Audi A8 manual states that retainers must be renewed whenever you have removed the rear seat bench in practise they are ussually ok

–	Engage fasteners -2- (4x) in plastic sleeves -3- (4x).

–	Press down rear seat bench -1-.

Renewing retainers

If you do need to renew the containers here is the procedure

–	Remove used retainers from body cut-out.

–	Fit new retainers -2- in body cut-out -1- and push in until they engage audibly.
